Why are these categories so different, and why were they chosen?
On artista.art, some people wonder why the art categories are so varied: sculpture, visual arts, music, literature, performing arts, cinema, and many more.
The answer is simple: art is not limited to a single form. It can be found in an infinite number of gestures, materials, sounds and moments.
Art is present in a handcrafted bracelet, in an everyday object made with patience, in a vase modelled by a potter who transforms clay into something beautiful and useful.
It is also present in a painting, where the painter chooses each colour and each shade to create a particular energy on the canvas.
The art of gestures and performances
There is also an art that cannot be touched, but only experienced.
A magician, for example, does not just perform tricks: he creates a moment of surprise, curiosity and wonder. His art is to make us feel like children again for the duration of a performance.
The juggler transforms movement into language. They play with space, rhythm and gravity. Behind each performance are hours of practice, trial and error, and then the grace of a perfectly mastered gesture.
Musicians spend days, sometimes years, composing, refining and rehearsing. Each piece they play is the result of work, passion and emotions that they choose to share with the audience.
A wide range of beauty
Each art form has its own particularity, its own way of touching people.
Some people will be deeply moved by a melody, others by a sculpture, a photograph, a text or a stage performance. There is no single right way to love art, there are many.

We know very well that not everyone will be attracted to all 26 proposals. And that’s not the goal. What we want is for everyone to find at least one universe that speaks to them, one artistic expression that truly touches them.
