Daniel Bardet

Having trained as a drummer and guitarist in the 1970s, I played in several bands, initially as a drummer, before turning to teaching the instrument.

I had the honour of teaching drums at the Hug Musique school in Neuchâtel, before founding my own school, Paradiddle Music, in 1994, which is now based in the Neuchâtel region.

In 2004, I released my first pop-rock album, Tu es parti, which led to a Fnac tour in French-speaking Switzerland.

I subsequently joined the Blue Night Orchestra as a guitarist in this big band, and later the Magic Jazz Combo as a drummer in a swing jazz setting.

I currently play bass with Kirk & The Elders and drums with Charlie Gilbert & The Boogie Head, two projects that allow me to continue exploring the live scene and groove from different angles.

Music has always been an integral part of my life, and I remain fully available and keen to take on new projects, collaborations and musical adventures.
